A Holiday Message for Our Clients & Neighbors: Family, Reflection & Legacy

December 24, 2025Estate Planning, Legacy Planning, Estate Planning, Giving Back, Family

To our clients, your families, and our neighbors here in Inglewood, Ladera Heights, Culver City, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, and Playa del Rey and also to those we haven’t met yet, but hope to serve in the year ahead…

As the year eases into winter, our corner of Los Angeles takes on a quieter kind of magic. You can feel it in the way the evenings arrive a little earlier, in the glow of neighborhood lights, in the sea air drifting in from the coast, and in the familiar rhythm of families gathering—, ome close by, some traveling, some connecting across distance with a simple call that says, “I miss you.”

The holidays have a way of bringing life into focus.

For many of us, this season naturally turns our hearts toward the people who feel like home: the ones around our tables, the ones we’re about to check in on, and the ones we carry with us in memory. We think about the small moments that truly shape a life—laughter in the kitchen, a tradition that survives every busy year, the warmth of being understood without having to explain. In a place as vibrant as ours—where the beach meets the city, where careers build and families grow—these moments become our anchors.

To our clients: thank you. Your trust means more than we can put into words. When you invite us into the personal work of planning, protecting, and preparing, you’re inviting us into something sacred—your family’s future. We don’t take that lightly. We’re grateful for every conversation, every meeting, every chance to help you create more certainty, more peace of mind, and more protection for the people you love.

And to those considering reaching out—our prospects, our neighbors, the friends and family members of clients who’ve heard our name: we see you, too. If you’ve been thinking, “I need to do something… I just haven’t had the time,” you’re not alone. The holidays are often the moment that thought gets louder—not out of fear, but out of love. Because love makes us want to get things right.

This season invites reflection on legacy.

Not the distant, abstract kind, the real kind. The everyday kind. Legacy is the way you show up. It’s the values you pass on without even realizing it. It’s the home you’ve built, the people you protect, the stories you keep alive, the decisions you make so your family won’t have to guess someday. Legacy is what remains after the decorations come down—because it’s made of care, intention, and love.

So wherever you are this holiday season—whether your home feels full and bright, or your year has been heavy, or you’re simply doing your best—please know this: you’re part of a community that matters. May you find warmth in the people who feel like home. May you find rest where you need it. And may the New Year bring clarity, renewed strength, and a deep sense of peace about what you’re building.

From our hearts to yours: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a New Year filled with health, purpose, and the kind of love that becomes a legacy.

Testimonials

Client Review
August 19, 2020

“My mother told me about the Collins Law Group and I must say, the entire experience has been a real pleasure. Although I was nervous at first, the Collins Law Group staff put me at ease with their friendliness and knowledge. I didn’t realize how hard it could be on your family and loved ones left behind if you die without any planning or directions in place for them. My biggest concern was making sure my elderly mother would be provided for and taken care of if something happened to me. I have been a caregiver for her for 12 years, so this planning was crucially important. I had previously made a living trust for myself on Legal Zoom but there is no comparison to the level of service and professionalism that Collins Law Group embodies. Attorney Collins and her staff provides excellent service and it will take a large burden off of my family when they need guidance at the time of my passing.”
