Our annual Collins Law Group holiday outing was at LACMA and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures this year, and it was one of those days that reminds you what matters.
There’s something special about getting the whole firm together outside the office, no phones ringing, no timelines, just camaraderie, laughter, and that shared feeling of, “This is my people.” The kind of togetherness that recharges you in the best way, and reminds you that the work we do is a team sport.
Because day to day, we as a team are helping families prepare for the moments life doesn’t warn you about. Incapacity. Sudden loss, and of course the legal and financial confusion that can follow when there isn’t a clear plan in place. It’s work that calls for patience, focus, empathy, and the ability to guide families through complicated decisions in a way that feels calm, clear, and doable especially when they’re overwhelmed.
So taking time to be together as a team isn’t just a “holiday activity.” It’s part of how we stay grounded and aligned—so we can come back even stronger, clearer, and more connected…ready to keep showing up for the families who trust us with their future.
