My husband and I attended a seminar presented by Attorney Collins in 2018. At that time my husband was not ready to proceed. However, by attending the webinar we learned the importance of Powers of Attorney’s. Unfortunately, at the end of 2018 my husband became incapacitated, and I went through a grieving stage. When I finally snaped out of it, I knew I needed to put together a trust. I Still had the Collins Law Group contact information and decided to contact them for my estate planning needs because I wanted something that would allow me to sleep at night. I wanted something that would be concrete and that I could go back and make changes to when necessary. I knew that I would not have that piece of mind if I were to do it on legal zoom. At the signing of the living trust, the firm provided me with a customized family planning video of my trust. I absolutely loved it, it very educational and it will be of great help to my daughters who are now twenty-five and twenty-two.
Both my mother and I got our trust done at the same time with Attorney Lioness J. Ebbay. When it comes to Estate Planning, the Collins Law group is very experienced and highly knowledgeable. Attorney Ebbay took the time to answer all our questions and explained the whole process. I registered and watched their free webinar on Wills & Living Trusts. During the webinar, both Mom and I learned the importance of having a trust and most importantly the difference between a will and a trust. The whole staff at the Collins Law Group was great to work with. They were very accommodating. They went out of their way to provide mom and I excellent customer service. Before we signed our documents, we watched a video that went through the trust and the way that the video is formulated, it made it quite easy to navigate and follow along with our trust. The best part was that we each got to take our video home. I personally liked that because I can sit and watch it with my family any time without me having to interpret what each article means, they can watch it and hear it and understand it themselves.
More families should plan with this firm. I have been a client of the Collins Law Group since 2004 and since then, they have been offering free educational seminars to the community. It is best to invest in a professional experienced attorney to create your trust to avoid probate.
Attorney Ebbay is the attorney who drafted my living trust. She was immensely helpful in providing me with the guidance I needed to assign the division of my estate amongst my children. Planning with Attorney Ebbay and the Collins Law Group has been comforting. They are very thorough, high touch treatment and are extremely sensitive to the nature of the decision making when it comes to planning. Our experience at the Collins Law Group was a particularly good and efficient experience. The webinar offered by them was highly informative and it answered most if not all our estate planning questions. Prior to our planning, we were not too familiar with any estate planning, we had a general idea of what a trust was but did not know just how much you could tailor it. At the signing of our living trust, we were presented with a tailored video of our living trust. This video made the portfolio containing our trust less intimidating and easier to understand. The video went over what our trust covers and the responsibilities that our representatives will have upon our deaths. Overall, great experience with this firm and its staff.
At the Collins Law Group, you will get great professional customer service. I loved the personalized treatment and how accessible they are. Prior to becoming a client, I had no knowledge of estate planning. I just knew through friends’ experiences that probate was not pretty. After attending the information webinar that the firm offers, which by the way is free, I learned that there are various options setting up your trust without hindering the benefits of your beneficiaries and to protect my children from any possible divorce. On the day I signed my trust, the firm presented me with a customized video. This video will be greatly beneficial to my family because it will provide them with a clear picture of the role that they have been assigned to as well as serve as a guide to some of the duties that they will have to handle. I would recommend that more people plan with this firm because they offer professional services and this firm will be there for you in the future, they are thorough and complete, I really do not know if there are other places out there like them that will offer the same type of service.
My parents created their trust with the Collins Law Group in 2008 and when my father passed in 2017, the law firm assisted my mother and my siblings with the administration that takes place after the first spouse passes away. The Collins Law Group has been wonderful to work with throughout the years. They have steadily held free informational seminars, which they have transitioned to webinars due to the pandemic. They really care about the community and it shows with their free educational webinars. I recently attended one of their free webinars and it was surprising to learn the mistake that most married couples make which is to place their home in joint tenancy. I most recently came in to create my own trust and Attorney Lioness assisted with the creation of my trust. Attorney Lioness was a delight, she was very accommodating to my schedule. The law firm even gave me a video of my trust. I was able to watch the video and go through my trust, which explained the trust in a concise way. It will be of great benefit for my family to watch it as it will go through everything that needs to be done and the roles that each person will have upon my passing. I recommend this firm because they know what they are talking about, they are trustworthy and very professional.
